Lasercraft Australia

Accessibility

Statement dated 12 October 2026

Our commitment

Lasercraft Australia is a disability enterprise. People with disability work here, visit here and buy from here, so this website is built to work for as many people as possible, on whatever device or software they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we check

Before each release the site is tested for the following.

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, in a sensible order, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and background colours are measured for contrast on every page. The minimum is 4.5 to 1.
  • Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall and wide, and the main action on each page is at least 48.
  • Text can be enlarged to 400 percent without losing content or needing to scroll sideways.
  • Pages still read and work with JavaScript turned off, and respect the reduce motion setting.
  • Every image has a text description, or is marked as decorative.
  • Forms name every field, keep what you typed when something is wrong, and list the problems in words.
  • Headings, landmarks and page titles are in place for screen readers.

Limits we know about

The Give button opens a panel that holds our donation link. That panel needs JavaScript. If JavaScript is off, you can donate by calling us or by using the contact details below.

Some older news articles carry photographs supplied over many years. Their descriptions are brief. If a picture matters to you and the description is not enough, ask us and we will describe it.

Tell us when something does not work

If any part of this website is hard to use, or you need information in another form such as large print or plain text by email, contact us. Say which page you were on and what happened. We will reply and fix what we can.
